Firing Line Museum

Firing Line Museum

Located within the grounds of the impressive Cardiff castle, the Firing Line museum in Cardiff celebrates the Welsh soldier and the contributions they have made in conflicts over the past 300 years.

A popular tourist attraction in Wales, museum director, Christopher Dale was looking to improve heating efficiency within the building, and decided to contact Fischer Future Heat for advice.

The museum was being heated with a gas central heating system that can be expensive to maintain. With many public services facing funding cuts, keeping energy costs as low as possible was, and is important for the museum. Fischer heaters distribute heat through a unique, patented 40mm Fire Clay Core that ensures complete efficiency and all heaters are supplied with a wireless thermostat that can be programmed to suit each rooms requirements.

Since the installation in the summer of 2016, the positive effects for the museum have been tangible.

Fischer heaters provide very efficient, clean controllable heating in an environment that has struggled before to keep in control of heating costs.
